Secret Service call for the re-opening of Whitney Houston's death investigation

A former secret service agent has called for the re-opening of Whitney Houston's death investigation saying its the only way to solve the mystery behind her daughter Bobbi Kristina's eerily similar death From  The National Enquirer John A. Carman, a former Secret Service agent, told The National Enquirer, “This smacks of a double cover-up!” Meanwhile, this publication has also learned another investigator, Isaac Weishaupt, has determined there is enough “evidence” to show the deaths could be related in both circumstance — and motive. Both deaths are linked by a combination of drugs and Bobbi Kristina’s abusive boyfriend, Nick Gordon, 25, who was either near or at both death scenes. “Whitney Houston ends up dead in a bathtub, covered with bruises, under hinky circumstances,” declared John. “Three years later, (Bobbi Kristina) dies in a bathtub, also covered with bruises, under hinky circumstances.” John, who has worked hundreds of drug cases, said to solve the ca...

Nigerians' reputation for crime has made them unwelcome in Europe and America-President Buhari

During an interview with Telegraph UK in London this week, Pres. Buhari warned Nigerians to stop trying to make asylum claims in Britain, saying that their reputation for criminality has made it hard for them to be "accepted" abroad.Buhari said those who had joined the migrant exodus to Europe were doing so purely for economic reasons rather than because they were in danger. He added that because of the number of Nigerians imprisoned for law-breaking in Britain and elsewhere, they were also unlikely to get much sympathy. "Some Nigerians claim is that life is too difficult back home, but they have also made it difficult for Europeans and Americans to accept them because of the number of Nigerians in prisons all over the world accused of drug trafficking or human trafficking. Nobody can bring back the girls because they are nowhere to be found"-Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo said the over 200 girls abducted by Boko Haram in Chibok, Borno State may never be found because their whereabout is unknown. He stated this on Friday, February 5 while fielding questions during the Seventh Roundtable with Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, a programme organised by Obafemi Awolowo University Staff Club. "The search for the abducted Chibok girls may not be fruitful. Nobody can bring back the girls because they are nowhere to be found." he said. Obasanjo blamed former President Goodluck Jonathan for ignoring the distress call to rescue the girls on the day they were abducted. "The former president heard about the kidnap  8am  in the morning of the abduction but failed to act until  72 hours later  and by then it was too late." "Anyone saying the Chibok girls will return is telling lies, maybe some of them will return to tell their story." According to him, the best efforts to rescue the girls can yiel...

Singer Elton John has ended his bitter eight-year feud with his mother Sheila. Confirming the pair have put their row behind them, he said yesterday: “We are now back in touch.” Elton John hadn’t spoken to Sheila since an explosive fall-out in 2008. And there seemed to be little chance of a thaw recently when she booked an Elton tribute act to perform at her 90th birthday party. But Sir Elton , 68, says the pair have been back in touch for weeks. He said: “Out of respect for my mother’s privacy, I have always shied away from speaking publicly about our relationship. “However, I can say that we are now back in touch and have been so since my mother’s 90th birthday.” The star added: “I won’t be commenting further on this.” Their bust-up was sparked by Sheila’s refusal to cut off contact with two of her son’s oldest friends, Bob Halley and John Reid, after he fell out with them. Bob had worked for Elton for three decades, first as a driver then later as a personal assistant,...

Prince Odi Okojie answers questions on his political ambition

Mercy Johnson's husband speaks on his political ambition. Read below... S ince the news hit the media that Edo State youth have resolved to have one of their own to represent them in the upcoming governorship election in Edo State and have called on me to come and represent them, I have been inundated by calls, messages, volunteers making themselves freely available, and independently sponsored publicity all encouraging me to come out (since my party in their wisdom, have zoned the deputy governorship ticket to my senatorial district- Edo central) and answer this call to serve my land and my people. However, in the midst of this gazillion support and encouragement, a few persons mostly out of concern have wondered audibly “why would a vibrant and young man border to waste his time and money in politics?”  In response to this and many other questions – some I have privately answer- and because of those who don’t have the privilege of access to me, I have decided to pro...
