Rockstar updated its official Grand Theft Auto V site today with a completed Visitor's Travelogue before the game's September 17th release date. The updated Travelogue includes more information about Los Santos and Blaine County. There's a new video advertisement from the Blaine County Board of Tourism, which features the desserts and forests in the game.

Rockstar also elaborated on the social features of GTA V if users create a Social Club account. Those who join will be treated to an unlockable Assault Sub Machine Gun, the Annis Elegy RH8 sports car, and unique haircuts for the three protagonists of the game. Members will also get career statistics, which include "BAWSAQ investment portfolios" that let you and your friends compare your progress and achievements. Photos can be shared within the game using GTA V's parody social networks Snapmatic and Lifeinvader.

Nigerian Army removes Commander whose battalion revolted yesterday

The Army Commander whose unit revolted yesterday May 14th in Maiduguri (read  here ) has been removed by the Nigerian Army from the 7th infantry division. Spokesman of the Nigerian Army, Major General Chris Olukolade, announced the removal of Major General Ahmadu Mohammed in a statement released today. The Commander's battalion revolted yesterday, shooting sporadically after seeing the bodies of their colleagues who had been ambushed and killed by Boko Haram in Chibok. They also complained of not getting adequate weaponry to fight Boko Haram and poor conditions. The soldiers shot at their commander during the rampage but didn't kill him.
