The Senate Yesterday morning confirmed the appointment of Mr Godwin Emefiele as the new Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Emefiele was the Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank before his new appointment. He replaces Sanusi Lamido Sanusi who was suspended by the Federal Government on February 20th over allegations of financial recklessness and misconduct.
