Bsuir Nigeria, Libya, Iran, Turkmenistan students FEITH visited on trips to the OEM

Professional orientation tour was organized on October 15 ITAS senior lecturer Natalia Hadzhinovoy. A group of 20 students in the High-Tech Park (HTP) warmly welcomed and hosted a study tour Christina Yurusova, deputy head of marketing and development of HTP Administration. The hstudents of BSUIR from countries such as Nigeria, Libya, Iran, Turkmenistan,has one thing aspiration: to acquire knowledge in the field of information technology, and then to apply them in their own country or abroad. All of them want to become highly qualified specialists and plunge into the atmosphere of the world of IT.

The HTP for students was presented in English presentation "Career in IT», from which they learned about the new professions, opportunities and achievements. The Students were told as it was created and operates in the High-Tech Park is a unique enabling environment for the realization of their abilities in the field of information technology. At present, the OEM has been operating for 144 companies. Students get practical tips on how to buy one of the most interesting and vysokovostrebovannyh professions to work in the IT industry. Students also learn about the Belarusian-Indian training center, based at the OEM. During the tour, our students visited the business incubator Tech Park, where his co-worker told the children about the possibilities of this space. The business incubator has all the conditions for dialogue, training, exchange of ideas and joint creative work. Thus providing support for the development of the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The children were able to see the work of the employees of the company «Exadel» (HTP resident), to get acquainted with their working conditions, ask questions and learn about the perspectives of practice and working in the IT-company. «Thanks a lot to BSUIR!» - Thank students. Tour of Belarusian "Silicon Valley" showed them what can be achieved when developing their potential. Young people are convinced: after graduation they will be able to realize all conceived career plans!

Nigerian Army removes Commander whose battalion revolted yesterday

The Army Commander whose unit revolted yesterday May 14th in Maiduguri (read  here ) has been removed by the Nigerian Army from the 7th infantry division. Spokesman of the Nigerian Army, Major General Chris Olukolade, announced the removal of Major General Ahmadu Mohammed in a statement released today. The Commander's battalion revolted yesterday, shooting sporadically after seeing the bodies of their colleagues who had been ambushed and killed by Boko Haram in Chibok. They also complained of not getting adequate weaponry to fight Boko Haram and poor conditions. The soldiers shot at their commander during the rampage but didn't kill him.
