Lagos state governor Akinwunmi Ambode today swore in his commissioners and special advisers into office at the Lagos state government secretariat Alausa Ikeja.

The Commissioners appointed and their portfolios include, Gbolahan Lawal, Commissioner for Housing, Dr. Jide Idris, Commissioner for Health; Folarin Coker, Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Seye Oladejo; Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations;
Engr. Ganiyu Johnson, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure; Mr. Oluwatoyin Suarau, Commissioner for Agriculture; Mr. Rotimi Ogunleye, Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives; Mr. Akinyemi Ashade, Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget; Dr. Babatunde Adejare, Commissioner for Environment; Mr. Olawale Oluwo, Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources; Dr. Benson Akintola, Commissioner for Establishment, Training and Pensions; Dr. Mustapha Akinkunmi, Commissioner for Finance; Dr. Abdul-Hakeem Abdul-Lateef, Commissioner for Home Affairs and Mr. Steve Ayorinde, Commissioner for Information and Strategy.

Others are Mr. Adeniji Kazeem, Commissioner for Justice; Alhaji Musiliu Folami, Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs; Townplanner Wasiu Anifowoshe, Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development; Mr. Olufemi Odubiyi, Commissioner for Science and Technology; Dr. Ekundayo Mobereola, Commissioner for Transportation; Engineer Adebowale Akinsanya, Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development; Mr. Babatunde Durosinmi-Etti, Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment; Hon. The Special Advisers and their portfolios include, Mr. Ayodeji Tinubu, Special Adviser Sports and Chairman Lagos State Sports Council; Mr. Ganiu Okanlomo Sanni, Special Adviser, Food Security; Mrs. Yetunde Onabolu, Special Adviser, Urban Development; Mr. Kehinde Joseph, Special Adviser, Civic Engagement; Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, Special Adviser, Arts and Culture and Dr. Olufemi Onanuga, Special Adviser, Primary Healthcare. Others are Mr. Obafela Bank-Olemoh, Special Adviser, Education; Hon. The Deputy Governor, Dr. Mrs. Oluranti Adebule was also assigned to oversee the Ministry of Education. Dignitaries present at the ceremony include former Military Governor of Lagos State, Brig Mobolaji Johnson, first civilian Governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu I, Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State, Otunba Henry Ajomale, Senator Oluremi Tinubu (Lagos Central), Senator Solomon Olamilekan (Lagos West), Senator Olugbenga Ashafa (Lagos East), Senator Ganiyu Solomon, members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Permanent Secretaries, top government functionaries, traditional rulers, clerics among others.

Cynthia Morgan replies Queen Ure after she takes her to court over alleged copyright infringement

Pastor turned singer Queen Ure Okezie (who came into prominence with her relationship with singer Soul E), took Northside First Lady, Cynthia Morgan to court in Dec. 2014 for allegedly infringing on her copyright with the song, ‘Popori’. Queen Ure claims 'Popori', which is the title of her album and a song, is her copyright. She claims she had the sound recording registered at the Nigerian Copyright Commission and a copyright certificate was issued to her in 2013. Fast forward to November 2014, and Cynthia Morgan released a song titled 'Porpori'. Queen Ure went to court and managed to get a court order to stop Cynthia Morgan from using the word 'Popori' as a title to her single. Cynthia just came for Queen Ure on her instagram page.
