Rockstar updated its official  Grand Theft Auto V  site today with a completed  Visitor's Travelogue  before the game's  September 17th  release date. The updated Travelogue includes more information about Los Santos and Blaine County. There's a new video advertisement from the Blaine County Board of Tourism, which features the desserts and forests in the game. Rockstar also elaborated on the social features of  GTA V  if users create a Social Club account. Those who join will be treated to an unlockable Assault Sub Machine Gun, the Annis Elegy RH8 sports car, and unique haircuts for the three protagonists of the game. Members will also get career statistics, which include "BAWSAQ investment portfolios" that let you and your friends compare your progress and achievements. Photos can be shared within the game using  GTA V 's parody social networks Snapmatic and  Lifeinvader .

68 year old Hollywood actor, Michael Douglas has denied that he said his throat cancer was caused by oral sex. The actor's rep Allen Burry told the Associated Press that Michael was talking about the causes of the type of cancer he had, but not the cause of his cancer specifically. Douglas was said to have made the remarks during an interview with The Guardian, who say they stand firmly by the quote, and that Michael was not misrepresented in any way. The Guardian then published the audio of the interview, and the transcript of the comment. Below is the Q & A between Michael Douglas and The Guardian film writer, Xan Brooks. Brooks: “Do you feel, in hindsight, that you overloaded your system? Overloaded your system with drugs, smoking, drink?” Douglas: “No. No. Ah, without getting too specific, this particular cancer is caused by something called HPV, which actually comes about from cunnilingus.” Sounds to me like he said it!

He explains why he wants to move to DB: "I am still signed to Iconic Music but there's a quest to move to DB Records. I want to pitch my tent in the international scene, that's why we gave DB Records some consideration. I think it's a platform for international advancement. I want Sony Records to take over the management of my music career. I also want international distribution for my works. D'banj is my friend, I am presently living in his house. We have not signed an official contract, but very soon, it will come to pass.

Brutality against little children hit a new high this week after a little boy was stoned to death for spilling milk, according to press reports. A seven-year-old boy was brutally stoned to death Saturday, by a 21-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl after soy milk was spilled on their clothing, a local Chinese newspaper reported. The boy was drinking milk at about 1:00 pm in a hallway near a photo studio run by his father. The man and the girl walked passed the boy, resulting in milk being spilled on their clothing. After the incident, the two took revenge on the child. The two tricked the boy to follow them to a wooded area. The teen girl and the man covered the child's head with clothing before stoning him. The assault was so overwhelming it was fatal. Police were alerted to the disappearance of the child by his parents, leading to a manhunt and the discovery of the boy's body in the woods. A teen girl was arrested and charged after spiking her roommate’s iced tea with bleach, according to police reports. The student from the University of Michigan is accused of spiking the iced tea of her roommate after a dispute over dirty dishes. Kayla Ashlyn Bonkowski, 19, faces felony charges of poisoning for dumping the lethal chemicals in the drink of 20-year-old Emily Joseph in their Union Township apartment last month. Bonkowski, who attends Central Michigan University, told police she did it because Joseph was mean, according to reports in the local newspapers. The roommates were reportedly fighting over dirty dishes. Bonkowski admitted to trying to poison Joseph, police said. "I knew that spraying bleach was a serious matter," she told police, the newspaper said. Joseph was treated at a local hospital and released. Spanish police said Sunday [Jun 2] they had broken up a ring that smuggled in women from Nigeria and forced them into street próstitution by burning them with irons and using voodoo rituals. Police arrested six Nigerian nationals, including the suspected woman ringleader, as part of an investigation launched last year after one of the próstitutes filed a complaint with the authorities. “The control exercised over women was total, involving verbal threats as well as physical violence and various voodoo ceremonies to terrorize them,” police said in a statement. “The ring caused them serious injury through bites or by using an iron to cause second-degree burns.”  The ring recruited women in Benin City, a run-down Nigerian port, whose husbands and fathers had died and who were struggling to raise their children. Tragedy struck yesterday in Umueze – Egbelu Nguru Community in Ngor-Opkala Local Government Area of Imo State when a middle-aged widow, Mrs. Gladys Nwosu, and three of her daughters died after eating dinner. The three deceased girls are Chinelo, a 22-year-old final year student of the University of Nigeria, Amaka, a primary school pupil and Ijeoma, who has just sat for her Senior Secondary School examinations. Two other children of the late Mrs. Nwosu, Njideka 18 and Chidera 20, who also partook in the dinner, are now lying critically ill at Umunaeke General Hospital, where the deceased have also been deposited in the mortuary. The House of Representatives yesterday Thursday May 29th approved 14 years imprisonment for persons who contracted same sex marriage in the country. This was sequel to a clause-by-clause consideration of a Bill for an Act to prohibit marriage or union entered between persons of same sex, at the Committee of the Whole. “Marriage or civil union entered between persons of same gender shall not be solemnised in any place of worship, either church or mosque or any place in Nigeria,” it said. Introducing the bill, Rep. Albert Sam-Tsokwa ( PDP-Taraba) said that it sought to achieve a far reaching objective by outlawing same sex marriage and provide punishment for offenders. It also set out a 10-year sentence for “any person who directly or indirectly makes public show of same-sex amorous relationships’’. “Any persons or group of persons that administers, witnesses, screen and shields the solemnisation of same sex marriage in Nigeria on conviction, will be liable to 10 years imprisonment.’’ I

A section of a train returning from Ijoko in Lagos State to its base at Ebutte Metta, Lagos on Wednesday derailed at Agege, in an incident said to have been caused by defective tracks. As of 11am on Wednesday, the scene of the accident had been cordoned off by policemen from the Railway police. An employee of the National Railway Corporation who spoke to PUNCH on the condition of anonymity said that the driver of the locomotive also shared the blame in the accident. “The rails were not aligned properly; there was a gap between them which ought not to be. It so happened that the driver who was driving the locomotive, was moving at a high speed. When he ran into the improperly laid rails, the locomotive was thrown off the rails.

A man (on the photo) was arrested after he allegedly crashed his car while having drunken sèx – catapulting his shocked lover through the windscreen. Luis Briones, 25, was found wearing just one shoe with his shorts inside-out as he hid from cops behind a cactus, it is reported.. His female passenger was ejected from the wrecked 4x4 Ford Explorer and found sprawled naked on the ground. She was treated for deep cuts to her face and head. Shockingly, Briones is accused of trying to speed away from the crash scene in Albuquerque, New Mexico, leaving his injured passenger behind. But his getaway on Monday night was thwarted when a bystander grabbed his keys from the ignition. He has been charged with aggravated drink driving, reckless driving and evading police.

According to the police, the suspect, who works at a cemetery in Epe area of the state, was arrested with a human skull. Police sources claimed that the suspect sold human parts for a living, adding that he had become notorious in the area for selling human parts. It was learnt that the suspect was arrested following a report by a resident who saw him displaying a skull for sale. The grandfather, who could not give his exact age, said he started selling human parts because he was poor and jobless. He said, “I live at 2, Tungbehin Street, Epe. A man who won a Lamborghini crashed it after only 6 hours of driving it. A truck driver for Frito-Lay in Utah, David Dopp, won a Lamborghini Murcielago in a shop contest at a convenience store recently. Six hours after receipt of the luxury car, it crashed. Before that even happened, he was detained by police for driving too fast. After that, he went out of control after hitting a patch of black ice which caused the vehicle to fly 75 feet off the road. Orobokibo crooner, Pasuma Wonder, according to repo rts,was yesterday dispossessed of his metallic silver colour Range Rover Sport by armed robbers. A nine-man  gang attacked music artiste, Wasiu Alabi, aka Pasuma, in Ahmadiyya end of Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway on Monday night.   The robbers snatched Pasuma’s Range Rover Sports Utility Vehicle with number plate Lagos, MUS 830AP, and dispossessed him of other valuables.   NIGERIANEYE  learnt that the singer, in company with a friend, was on his way to a show when he was attacked by the culprits.   It was learnt that some of the culprits forced their way into Pasuma’s vehicle and drove him around for over three hours before dumping him into a bush near Ota, Ogun State, and made away with the vehicle.   An associate of the singer, who spoke with our correspondent on the telephone, said the incident occurred at about 9pm.   The source Pasuma was not identified by the robbers because he hid his face.   He said,

The family of one of the Woolwich terror suspects today expressed their “profound shame and distress” over the “senseless killing” of soldier Lee Rigby. Relatives of Michael Adebolajo, 28, sent their “heartfelt condolence” to the family of the tragic drummer, who was hacked to death near barracks in south-east London. In a statement, the Adebolajo family said: "Nothing we can say can undo the events of last week. "However, as a family, we wish to share with others our horror at the senseless killing of Lee Rigby, and express our profound shame and distress that this has brought to our family." They said they believed that “there is no place for violence in the name of religion or politics”, adding that they “wholeheartedly condemn all those who engage in acts of terror”. Ghanaian authorities have temporarily banned the Ghana branch of TB Joshua's Synagogue Church of All Nation from hosting revivals, days after four people were killed and 13 more injured in a stampede during a church service on Sunday May 19th. Thousands of people flocked to the church after church officials announced that holy water would be distributed. During the rush for the anointed water, three men and one man lost their lives after being trampled over. Ghanaian authorities said the stampede could have been avoided if the church had used a bigger venue. The church is no longer allowed to hold revivals at their Spintex Auditorium in Accra.

The national president of the Nigerian chapter of Junior Chamber International, Oyebanjo Okunuga (pictured first) and his deputy, Agaptus Nnadiekwe (pictured second), died on Sunday May 26th in a fatal auto accident while returning to Lagos after attending a collegiate conference at Federal University of Technology Akure, Ondo state. The vehicle they were traveling in crashed, killing Oyebanjo and Agaptus, while the executive secretary survived. He's currently receiving treatment at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital. Apart from being Nigeria JCI president, Oyebanjo was the CEO of Kubacle Clothing, - a clothing company and also CEO of Business Craft Solution, - an entrepreneurship development organization He was 32 years old.
