Following the Paris and San Bernadino attacks, Muslims have been criticized all over the the world. The CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg took to his official page on Wednesday, December 9, to show his support for the Muslim communities. "I want to add my voice in support of Muslims in our community and around the world," He wrote. "After the Paris attacks and hate this week, I can only imagine the fear Muslims feel that they will be persecuted for the actions of others. As a Jew, my parents taught me that we must stand up against attacks on all communities. Even if an attack isn't against you today, in time attacks on freedom for anyone will hurt everyone. If you're a Muslim in this community, as the leader of Facebook I want you to know that you are always welcome here and that we will fight to protect your rights and create a peaceful and safe environment for you. Having a child has given us so much hope, but the hate of some can make it easy to succumb to c

Simon Cowell has been left traumatised after his house was burgled in the early hours while his family was inside. The crooks stole cash and jewellery in the 2am raid yesterday. Cowell , girlfriend Lauren Silverman and son Eric were at the £35million mansion when the burglars struck. A source said: “It was clearly a very traumatic incident. Simon is just relieved that his family was safe and all right. Their safety is his number one priority.” Police rushed to the luxury house in Holland Park, West London, but the burglars had fled. It is understood Cowell, 56, and his family were asleep at the time of the break-in and that a security guard called the police. Russian sculptor creates chocolate sculpture of Putin and his dog

Russian artist Nikita Gusev has created a life-size sculpture of  President Vladimir Putin made entirely of chocolate.                              Gusev used 70 kilos (154 lbs) of chocolate to make the sculpture that was commissioned by and will be the main attraction at the city’s Chocolate Festival. He also made a chocolate sculpture of Putin's late dog, a Labrador named Connie. With the sculpture near completion on Thursday, the St. Petersburg-based sculptors had already used more than 70 kilograms of chocolate. The most difficult part to make was the head, because the head and face are the most recognisable (parts of a person) and if you do those well the body doesn't have to match reality for it to be clear who the sculpture is. That's why the first part I started in my work was the head, and I spent approximately three days on it. After that was finished, I started the body – Nikita Gusev, sculptor The creators expect their creation to be a beco

Girl's tweet about Kylie Jenner posing in wheelchair goes viral

A high school student says she's shocked but pleased about the online reaction to her tweet in response to a photograph of able-bodied TV star and model Kylie Jenner posing in a wheelchair. Ophelia Brown, 17, uses a wheelchair due to the complex regional pain syndrome that she was diagnosed with at nine years old. When she saw the Interview magazine image of Jenner, Brown was upset and wrote a message on Twitter that was directed at Kylie. "Having an able-bodied person pose in a wheelchair like it's a fashion accessory, it trivializes the concept of a wheelchair," Brown told CBC News in an interview at her school Thursday. "A wheelchair is not a fashion accessory, it's not a prop, it's not something that I can easily get in and out of. It's not something that I want. It's something that I need to get to school, to go out with friends, to live a normal life. "It's not something to be trivialized."

Ayo Fayose has dissociated himself from calls by some state governors for the reduction of the N18, 000 minimum wage

Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose has dissociated himself from calls by some state governors for the reduction of the N18, 000 minimum wage. According to Fayose, instead of the governors to cut down on the minimum wage which isn't enough, they should cut down on their travels and tours and the number of wives and children they have. He said this during the Agenda for the Treasury Board meeting held as part of preparation of the 2016 Budget in Ekiti today December 4th. "Today most newspapers reported the story about call by some state governors that the minimum wage of N18,000 be reduced or that there should be massive retrenchment of workers in the public service. They are on their own and I take exemption to that. The minimum wage is even not enough. Reduction of wages or retrenchment of workers won't happen in Ekiti State. Instead of those anti-labour and anti-people policies, the governors should cut down on their travels and tours and cut down minimum wives and ch
