Laverne Cox becomes first Transgender person on the cover of Time

American Transgender actress, Laverne Cox, of Netflix's hit Orange Is the New Black becomes the first transgender woman to grace the cover of Time magazine for a story about 'The Transgender Tipping Point. Time revealed the mag cover today.

Laverne, who is a voice for transgenders in the US and one of the most well-known transgender faces in mainstream media, talked to Time about her life as an effeminate young boy and the bullying she had to endure growing up. If you care to, read it here
