Muhammed Buhari Arrested For N20m Scam Is Not My Son- Gen. Buhari

Former military Head of State, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has denied knowing any Muhammed Buhari who has been arrested by EFCC for N20m scam and claims to be his adopted son.

In a statement issued on his behalf by Mr. Jasper Azuatalam, Buhari denied ever knowing the said Muhammed and said he had no reason to adopt any son as God has blessed him with both male and female children. Part of the statement read;

“Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) wishes to state categorically that he does not have any adopted son called “Muhammed Buhari” and had no need to adopt a son at any time having been blessed with choice children, both male and female.

“Muhammadu Buhari and his family do not know the said “Muhammed Buhari” who is alleged to be involved in a N20m scam and is being held by the EFCC as reported.”

Azuatalam urge Nigerians to disregard the reports, saying the former head of state and his family will never be caught in a scam related issue and it’s only an attempt by mischief makers to smear his image.

Read the letter...... I've been a season-ticket holder at Arsenal for 24 years and I've never felt so low about the club I love. After Arsene Wenger joined the club in 1996, us fans were spoiled with top players, attractive, attacking football, and titles and trophies galore. It's gone downhill since that day. I went to the Crystal Palace game at the weekend and it's got so bad for fans like me that you can now even buy match tickets on the day of the game. The last time I can remember that happening is when I was a boy - I'm 29 now. I couldn't bring myself to go to the West Brom game last night: I s...
